What was he doing batting like a snail chasing a score that big anyway. I was expecting to see some of those shots he showed during that recent 20/20 game. Instead it was old stodgy Kallis playing his eye and his average in.

You can pick and choose your stats if you like - and if you did take a peek at ABdV who cannot get a runs against the minnows and has a great time against the seeds/test playing nations. The Aus game was the first time I have ever seen ABDV bat and I was quite impressed by what I saw. Decent temperament and a nice array of shots.
Kallis may get into out team as an allrounder but he would be batting where Sicknote does at no 7. If he batted slowly then he'd come in after the bowlers and just before Glenn. |
