Squads for the 2003 Cricket World Cup Cricket News 05/01/03
As required by the International Cricket Council as part of the conditions for the 2003 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya beginning on 9 February , each participating nation had to name their final squads of 15 players
by 31/12/2002, from which the final team of 12 would be selected for scheduled World Cup matches. Below is the full list of squads for each participating team.
In the event a nominated player is unable to take his place in the squad of 15, the participating team is able to replace that player with one of similar ability after seeking approval from the ICC. For example; A bowler can be replaced with a bowler.
